Note from Frequency13

We have never liked the mp3 format. For many years we refused to release any Frequency 13 tracks in mp3 format. The compression is just terrible at best and never sounds as the piece was intended especially at higher volumes of which it is meant to be played. Mp3's just don't let the sound "open up" and expand as it should. With that being said, listed below are mp3 versions of the songs and coming "soon" we hope to put up all the material including roughs and unfinished pieces.

Return To Terminal I

MORE COMING SOON!
The "Return To Terminal I" album was never officially released though a few songs were as demos and promos before it was scrapped for a new vision of it. These recordings were thought to have been lost until recently when Decline unearthed them from the Cooler Than You Studio Archives. Search For Frequency was the first official Frequency 13 song. Heiden (aka hiden2) was recorded live straight to tape from the boards and word of caution in typical early Frequency13 fashion runs about 24 minutes.

Return To Terminal II

The basic tracks that comprised the Return To Terminal II album.
Note: Hyper Terminal and Welcomed Annex Exile were removed and did not appear on an even more stripped down version of this album when it was re-released.

The Other Half

The Return To Terminal II album saw it's release in several different forms. These are the "other" tracks that appeared on various versions.

Frequency 13 Live

Three small tracks that were recorded live at various places. Of particular note we suppose Test1 goes "straight" into End Of Terminal but as should be obvious listening to it there was some confusion about what was next or even if Test1 was over. On stage you just can't hear anything, you or anybody else is doing so you just trust it is all working out. Also of note, "Bill-o" is not the same version as the SDR podcast Bill O'Reilly. Rather this is an example of what happens when your sampler won't switch banks and gets stuck on Bill quotes. Confusion, struggle, acceptance, play half of two different songs together and hope it works out. We don't think it did, but it's a bit more than less than interesting.

Some Disassembly Required

Frequency 13 has done several tracks only for the use in the SDR Project, so here they are ripped straight from the SDR Podcast site. The exception is Par Avion, which while it appears on SDR was not actually made specifically for SDR. Also of note: White WALL Commercial War features a very lengthy "intro" which Frequency 13 finds to be too long but they didn't exactly do the final mix. Atomic Learning still remains 13's favorite.
